Ellie is a Scottish born actress living and working in Toronto. Ellie began acting at the age of 8 in Scotland when she was cast as the face of the national cycle safety campaign and from there she quickly landed roles in other productions such the ITV production of Ian Rankins Doors Open alongside actors such as Stephen Fry , Dougie Henshall and Brian McArdie soon  after she moved with her family to Toronto ,Canada. Her first lead role was being cast as the paranormal character in the matchbox pictures feature Kingdom Come .
